Regular meeting of the. City .Council; present Mayor Boucher
and Councilmen Boyker , Dunbar , Dunn, Hardy, Jenks , Haden and
Wooden.
Minutes ,of last regular meeting , April 3, last , read
and axpproved.
Clerks report and the Budget report for he month of March
was presented and filed.
Mr. T. M. Alford was given permission to use the Pipe Line
Right-of-Way in the N.E. of Sec. 30 , for wood road.
Upon motion the Bldg. Com. were authorized to let a contra jrfor the building of an office for the Chief 09 Police , in the
S.W.Corner of the Clerks Office.
The City Eng. was directed to stake out James street from
Cent . Ave. to Hazel Ave . , or as far as we have the Rjof-Way.
were granted
Licenses to handle beer and light wines/to applicants as
follows: Johnson Pool Hall , Class A; Petet Chatham, Class B;
The Club , Class A; L. D. Berlin , Class B; Bungalow Cafe Class
A; Ben Reynolds , Class A; Franklin Thrift Store , Class C;
Virginia Cafe , Class C; Fashon Cigar Store , Class A and E.
Meadowcroft , Class C. '
Upon motion it was ordered that the heating plant in the
City Hall be fixed up.
The City Atty. was directed to write the State Finance Co ittee
in relation to a bid on the sewer bonds.
Upon motion Mr. Feroe was given 30 days to make some arang
ements in reguard to a settlement for the property baught fro
the City.
