Kent , Washington, December 5, 1932.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Boucher
and Councilmen Boyker , Dunbar , Dunn, Hardy, Jenks , Naden and
Wooden.
Minutes of the meeting of November 21 , last , read and ap-
proved.
Engineer reported progress on sewer work, and the City
Attorney reported on the Guiberson Claim for $50.00, for the
cutting of an apple tree , recomending that the claim be de-
nied , and upon motion the reco?, r('1&t ,on of the City Attorney
was adopted and the Claim was rejected .
Bids were opened for the City Printing for the ensuing
year from the Advertiser-Journal and the Valley News and upon
motion the contract- was- awarded to the Advertiser-Journal for
18 Cts . for first insertion and 15 cts per inch for subsequent
insertions.
Ordinance No . 641 , providing for the issuance of refunding
warrants ,- in lieu of bonds , for Dist . 227 , was read- and upon
motion pUced upon its final passage and carried by the unan-
imous vote of all of the Councilmen present .
The Fire Dept. v!as diected to order 400 ft. of 1j inch
fire hose. and to take out insurance on 13 Firemen at $5.00
per man.
