Persuant to a motion passed at the last meeting of the Cit1
Council , held in the . City hall , on August 19th. last , adjurn-
ing the meeting to this date , the Council i7as called to order
at 8 O'Clock, p.m, by Mayor Boucher, with Councilmen Boyker ,
Dunbar, Dunn, Hardy and Naden present .
The reading of the minutes was dispensed with and Ordinance
No. 636, declaring an emergencey and providing for the issuan-
ce of $15,000.00 in bonds for the replacement of the Trunk
Newer , was read adopted and ordered printed as required by la ,
the time set for hearing for Tuesday , Sept. 6th. , next.
Taxes on lot 15, block 19 , 7'.C.I .Co ' s First Addition, was
ordered paid , amt . 17 .97.
Final est. on sewer contract , Dist . 2271 amt . $89.47 was
allowed, the work accepted and the cash bond ordered returned .
The Contract bond on the Trunk Sewer Contract was accepted
and ordered .filed.
Upn motion the Council accepted the offer of -Carl Bjork,
as per letter of August .20th. last , .for Slip Seal joint for
29 cents per foot.
Bid of Carl Bjork for 'repair o$ 'Trunk Sewer at Standard
Oil Co. for .$3.50 per foot and for By-Pass at Ceptic Tank at
same price per foot as the regular contract and the repare
on Second between Shinn and Harrison at $1.50 per foot , vias
accepted and the work ordered done .
Mr. Clark reported progress on the work at the head works ,
after which , and DXi no further business appearing,
the meeting , upon motion, did then adjurn.
