Kent , Washin ;ton, March 21 , 1932.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Boucher
and Councilmen Boyker, Dunbar , Dunn, Hardy, Naden & Wooden.
Minutes of the meeting of March 7th- , last, read and approved.
Budget report for February presented and filed.
City Attorney reported.. on he claim for damages, of Jesse and
Alvida Wood Burrows , recomending that the same be denied, and
upon motion the recomendation of he City Attorney was adopted.
T1iE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION, Granting a request of the Fire De t ,
was upon motion adopted.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Kert ,
at a regular meeting thereof , held on Yarch 21 , 1932, that witY.
the wtiten consent of the owner of the following, property, the
t. 60 ft. of lot 7, Block 3 of Yeslers First Addition to Kent ,
that the Kent Volunteer Fire Department , under the supervision
of the Chief thereof, that the building situated on said grope -
ty may be turned over to the said Fire Department , for desctuc
tion and demolition in such manner as may be decided by the Fi e
Department , without endangering other property contiguous thereto.
The City Clerk was , upon motion, instructed to order 100 cast
Cut Off Boxes .
Upon motion the Park Board was authorized to sell the Kent A to
Park for $3000.00; $400.00 to be paid down and the balance to le
paid at the rate of $25.00 per month and 7% interest on unpaid
portion.
Matter of the cleaning of Mill Creek, through Mr. Clark' s
property, was refered to the Drainage Committee.
Mr. Fallgreen, the City Engineer , was authorized to procure
maps and blue prints as deemed necessary.
