Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Boucher
and Councilmen Boyker, Dunbar, Dunn, Hardy, Leach, Naden and.
Wooden.
Minutes of the meeting of August 3, last, read and app-
roved.
Clerks report and the Budget report for the month of
July, presented and filed.
Mr. Boyker of he Water Committee reported on the progress
of the a valve for the reservoir and markers on the transmis-
sion lines.

The Clerk was directed to notify the Pipe Co. of leaks on
the Main Line and the condition of the paint on some of the
steel pipe. Also to notify the P.S.P.& L. Co. of the condition
of the crossing at Meeker St. and the Old Interurban Crossing.
The Street Com. and the Engineer reported on the cost of
repairs to Meeker St. and matter left in hands of St. Com.
Matter of new signs at Cadys and Prepernaughs and the cu
ting of weeds alond Highways & Streets refered to the Street
Comi;;ittee, with power to act.

The Engineer presented Estimates on new water lines for
outside districts.
Upon motion the Eng. Instruments were placed in the charge
-of the City Engineer -and fie was directed not to loan them, at
.any time, or for any purpose.
Clerk was directed to get an extention of time, from Oly-
mpia, on the begining-of work on the Lake Sawyer Dam.
No further business appearing the meeting, upon motion,
