Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Boucher and Coun- cilmen Boyker, Dunbar, Hardy, Leach, Naden and Wooden. Minutes of the meeting of July 20th. "-last , read and approved. Police report for month of July presented and filed, I Water Committee reported on the question of furnishing water out- side of the city limits, recomending that we give a definate answer after October 1 , when the dry spell should be over, and upon motion the recomendation of the Water Committee was adopted. Ordinance No. 624, vacating a certain unnamed street on W. side of C.M.& St-P. Railway R-of-W, between Meeker & Shinn Streets , was read and upon motion placed upon it final passage and carried by the unan- imous vote of all of the Councilmen present. Upon motion Mr. Irving Clark was employed to establish and mark water conections on the main tranmission water line. Matter of repares on Meeker street was refered to the Street Com. Upon motion it was decided to enforce sprinkling hours , effective August 10th. , between the hours of 6 to 8 in the morning and 6 to 9 in the evening; the penality to be a meter and meter rates from the time of violation.
