Kent, Washington, May la, 1931.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Murker and Coun-
cilmen Boundy, Boucher, Boyker, Dunbar, Leach & Wooden.
Minutes of the meeting of May 4th. , last, read and approved.
Clerks Report and Budget report for the month of April, presented
abd filed.
Mr. Boyker reported Streets graded and in shape for the summer.
Mr. Boundy and the City Engineer reporte dnon the Clark street walk
and upon motion the sidewalk was ordered in fro$ Smith street to Tem-
perance street.
Mr. Boyker submitted some figures.on a new burner, which tie had got
from a firm in seattle, no action was taken.
Ordinance No 622, vacating the south end of State street was read
and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the unan-
imous vote of all of the Councilmen present.
Engineer presented tentative estimate and plans on the new water
works store house, the same to be more fully presented at the next
meeting of the Council.
Upon the recomendation of the Finance Committee a small parcel of
land between Second and Third Avenues, and between Millis and Crow
Streets was ordered sold to 2dr Ellis for $87.50.
