Kent , Washington, September 15, 1930.
Regular meeting of he City Council; present iiayor 1.1urker & Coun-
cilmen Boundy, Boucher, Boyker, Dunbar, Leach & Wooden.
Minutes of previous meeting , September 2, last, ,itas read and app-
roved.
Clerks report and the Budget report for August presented & Filed .
Various comunications were read and filed, some discussion on the
application of Mr. Weil , for water notth of O 'Brien, v!as had , but
no action taken.
Application of the American Concrete Pipe Co. , for extention of
time to October 16th. , next , was upon motion granted.
RESOLUTION 1,10. 226A, setting time for hearing on assessment roll ,
eras read and adopted as follows;
IT IS RESOLVED 13Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT: That the 6th.
day of October, 1930, at the hour of 8 o ' clock p .m. at the Council
Chambers , in the City Hall , at Kent , 77ashington, be and the same is
fixed as the time and place for hearing on the assessment roll for
local improvement district number 226 , for the irlprovernent of Third
Street No. , in North Park Addition, by grading and graveling and
draining the same .
That the City Clerk: is hereby directed to publish in the City
Official newspaper, of the City of Kent , notice thereof as requir-
ed by law and the ordinances of the said City.
Ordinance 1!o. 611 , granting franchise to the Seattle Gass Co. ,
ras read,and after amending the time therein to 60 days to comence
work and one year to finish, after the effective date of the ordi-
nance , the same was laid over to the next regular meeting of the
Council for final disposal.
