2 . SUMMARY STATEMENT: At its meeting on, August 15 , 1989, the Council
directed staff to prepare draft plans and a proposed ordinance
for the Council to consider re-establishing local control over
the collection of solid waste within the City. These proposals
will be presented to Council at the special meeting.

2 . SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Council' s action authorizing the
Senior Housing Bond Issue to be placed on the ballot
did not incorporate passage of the ordinance so author-
izing,. This ordinance is presented to the Council for
approval-to make this technical correction.
